Mobile apps for the people who use them every day.

We design and build mobile applications for iOS and Android. We start with the task your users need to complete, then plan the screens, data and device features that make that task reliable on a phone. The technology follows from that — cross-platform with Flutter or React Native, or native Swift and Kotlin where the product calls for it.

Is this the right fit?

A good fit for founders launching a mobile product and businesses giving customers or staff a better way to access an existing service. We can also assess an app you already have — whatever it was built in — before proposing a redesign or feature release.

What we can deliver

Product flows and interface design

We map onboarding, core actions, account management and error states. A prototype lets you review the experience before implementation and identify confusing steps while they are still inexpensive to change.

Application development

We build the app against the platforms you are targeting, with layouts adapted to different screen sizes. Device permissions, camera access, notifications and platform-specific behaviour are included when required by the agreed scope.

Backend and data connections

An app needs more than screens. We plan account access, API contracts, data storage and any admin tools alongside the application. If offline use matters, we define what is available without connectivity and how conflicts are resolved.

Testing and release support

We test the agreed devices and journeys, including denied permissions and failed requests. Release support covers builds, store assets and submission preparation. App Store and Google Play review decisions remain with the platforms.

Decisions to make before the build

Does the product need to be an app?

A responsive website may be enough for occasional browsing or a simple enquiry. An app becomes more useful when repeat use, device capabilities or an experience designed for mobile are central to the product.

What belongs in the first release?

A focused core workflow is easier to validate than a long feature list. Identify the action that creates value, what users must have to complete it, and what can wait until you have usage feedback.

Cross-platform or native?

One shared codebase covers most products and keeps two platforms in step for less cost. Native is worth it when the app leans hard on platform-specific hardware, background behaviour or performance. We recommend based on your feature list, not on a house preference.

How the project moves forward

  1. 01Define the core use case, target devices, platform approach and first-release boundaries.
  2. 02Prototype the journeys and agree on backend requirements.
  3. 03Build and test the application through reviewable milestones.
  4. 04Prepare the store submission and hand over code, access and release notes.

Budget and scope

Mobile apps are quoted individually. The number of workflows, integrations, device features and backend requirements matters more than the number of screens, and whether the build is cross-platform or native changes the estimate. Share a brief or prototype for an estimate; website package prices do not apply to mobile apps.

Questions about mobile app development

Can one codebase support both iOS and Android?

Yes. Cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter and React Native share application code across both platforms, which is how most of these projects are built. Some permissions, integrations and release tasks still need platform-specific work, and both platforms need testing either way.

Can you work with an existing backend?

Yes, subject to a review of the API, authentication flow and documentation. We will identify any backend changes the mobile experience needs before finalizing the scope.

Which framework will you use for our app?

We decide with you during scoping rather than in advance. Flutter and React Native cover most products from a single codebase; native Swift or Kotlin makes sense when the app depends heavily on platform hardware or background behaviour. If you already have a team or a codebase, we work in what you use.

What accounts do we need for launch?

You will normally need your own Apple Developer and Google Play developer accounts, plus accounts for hosting and any third-party services. We identify the required accounts and responsibilities during release planning.
